Message from President

The company was founded in 1962 and previously called Nissei Electronics Industry Co., Ltd. that had high reputation in the world for its wireless technologies for many years. In October 2007 when new business is launched, we take this opportunity to change the company name aiming for “Quantum Leap” in our future business and everlasting growth of the company. We regard this event as the second foundation of the company. “Quantum Leap” is originated from technical term used in quantum mechanics and it represents discontinuous transition of energy state of electrons. The new company name “Quantum Leap Technologies” implicitly means technologies that introduce discontinuous and significant development into human society. At the same time, the name also signifies the direction of our technology developments.
We consistently keep insight into essence aiming for creative developments of technologies to be regarded as the first-class in the world. We voluntarily create “changes” in drastically changing business environment so that we can provide creation of value exceeding customers’ expectation.

Born in Sapporo in 1962. Bachelor of engineering at TOHOKU UNIV. faculty of engineering, department of applied physics. Master of engineering at TOHOKU UNIV. graduate school (Applied physics). Majors are theoretical study of semiconductor physics and condensed matter photophysics. After joined R&D Lab. at NIKON CORPORATION, engaged in research activities in Neural Network, Photochemical Hole Burning(PHB) and Excimer LASER.
1995-2004 work at Arcotronics Italia S.p.A (HQ at Bologna in Italy, consolidate sales $250M, 2000 employees). 2000-2003 CFO (Director) at Arcotronics Italia S.p.A., 2003-2006 Direcotor at Arcotronics Industries S.p.A. and 2000-2006 Director at Arcotronics UK Holdings Co., Ltd. Since Feb.2004 President & CEO at Nissei Electronics Industry Co., Ltd.
